I was actually left with the feeling that the dating world might not be all that daunting, which was shocking . I’d rather stab myself than re-enter the dating world. So happy I found my Lord! This book definitely provides excellent guidelines and potential pitfalls all in a quick, easy to digest and fun manner. Loved reading it. I’m actually going to share this with my 14 year old daughter in the near future. It’s good to know warning signs before you have the opportunity to encounter them. So valuable! Also really good to have the categories for these “Lords.” May we never forget them. You will love this. It is a quick read. Settle in with it while relaxing on your sofa with a nice cup of coffee or something stronger, depending on the chapter. Genuine. Heartfelt. The dating stories are told in a conversational way and it feels like you're chatting with friends. It's certainly funny but also poignant where it needs to be. Definitely recommend!! • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Amazon customer -- Must read dating book - especially for a serial monogamist like me : I would love to say that I connected to this book because the stories resonated with me--that I laughed as the honesty and humor reminded me of a similar experience. But my reality is different. I've never dated, at least not as an adult. I've been in long-term relationships since I was 19 and now life has thrown me into singlehood. What I loved about this book was different. I loved the message that it is OK to date lots of people to find your right fit. I loved the heads-up of the types of people that I will likely encounter as I branch into the scene. And most of all, I loved the empowering message that we own our dating journeys and the people we choose. It is a great mindset shift for a serial monogamist, a fun read, and I highly recommend it. You could both laugh, cringe, and maybe cry a little as you resonated with each of the lords. The authors are incredibly transparent about their own dating journeys in a way that encourages the reader to be honest with themselves as well. I read the book in one day!
